Word from Mom---- "Can you hear us shouting all around? We rec'd GREAT news today! Our I800A has been approved-only 20 days since we mailed our application-woo hoo! I think this is one for the record books! I messed up our original package and tried to stop Fed Ex from delivering it to Chicago-I was unsuccessful-Lots of tears and worries on my part. Now I can see that God's hand was in the process all along. Because I had to call the office and explain my problem, I was able to reach a wonderful person who has helped me tremendously. She became my case worker. Today she called me to tell me that she rec'd my cleared fingerprints and that she will get my approval to me on Monday. Woo Hoo! What an awesome, Mountain moving God we serve! I am so thankful. We are driving to Columbia Tuesday to have our paperwork authenicated and then overnighting it to Carol in Washington that day. She will have my completed dossier to me by Tuesday, August 11th. I will hand deliver my dossier to Mei in Charleston on Wednesday. We will get to visit with some of our awesome travel buddies and hopefully we will be DTC by the 14th. One day short of 2 months since we accepted our referral of Andrew. I am in Awe of the miracle of this. Thanks for all of your prayers-please keep them coming! We are still praying and believing that we can meet our son before the end of the year! Hold on sweet Andrew, we are closer than ever!"

I am SO thankful that I serve such an amazing and mountain moving God!! Thank you Lord!!!

Dear My Sweet Andrew-
Today you are 3. You are up right now and maybe you are playing. I hope you are happy. I so wish I could be there to give you a hug and sing Happy Birthday to you!! I hope you have a wonderful day and that you will enjoy your package. I love you so much and I can't wait to have your party! You are such a blessing and I can not wait to meet you and hold you.

Fingerprint!

We got our Fingerprinting appointment yesterday and we are soooo thrilled!!! Please continue to pray our paperwork goes quickly and we can travel by the end of this year!! (:

Well we sent Andrew a care package and got a picture of it!! Yippeee!!!! Here it is!

Not Much

Ok so not much news to tell right now we are still anxiously awaiting Mr.Andrew! We did get our homestudy and that was a huge blessing! We are hopefully heading to Columbia sometime soon! (maybe today!)

Video

Today we received the rest of the video of Andrew Hudson! Oh my Word precious is an understatement! He talks and even smiles/grins!! Woo Hoo! He made my Mom's heart smile as Anna Grace would say by saying Mama in the video! Oh I can't wait to hold this sweet boy!!!

We also got our Homestudy approved and we have started our I800A!! Please pray this goes super quickly!!! :)

Dear Sweet Andrew,
I can't wait for you to come home! I am so excited! Unfortunately I am not patiently awaiting. I am actually counting down the days, hours and minutes until we hold you. You have already become so much a part of our life and I can not wait to finally see your sweet face and hold you and kiss you! That will be a wonderful day. Just like it was with your Mei Mei, Anna Grace. We are all anxious to finally meet you! We got your video today and it was SO sweet and only made me want you more! We will be SO blessed when we finally hold you! Oh what a magic and glorious day that will be.

The Waiting Child

I saw you meet your child today
You kissed your baby joyfully
And as you walked away with her
I played pretend you’d chosen me.

I’m happy for the baby, yet
Inside I’m aching miserably
I want to plead as you go by,
“Does no-one want a child of three?”

I saw you meet your child today
But this time there was something new
A nurse came in and took my hand
And then she gave my hand to you.

Can this be true? I’m almost four!
And there are infants here you see?
But then you kissed me and I knew
The child you chose this time was me.

Build-A-Bear

We went to Build-A-Bear workshop while at the beach and I made Andrew a bear. We were so excited to be able to make one for him! Here is a collage of a few pictures of me making the bear! I love the bear and I hope Andrew will too! I can't wait to bring this sweet boy home!!
